Broadleaf Weed Control for Lawns

Monterey Spurge Power is a 3-way, post-emergent, selective broadleaf herbicide for use on residential lawns. It contains three active ingredients (MCPA/triclopyr/Dicamba) that kills spurge, dandelion, oxalis, creeping Charlie, clover, wild violet and other broadleaf weeds in lawn areas.

Monterey Spurge Power may be used on both warm and cool season lawns to kill hard to control broadleaf weeds that other products miss. Third generation post-emergence turf herbicide that does not contain 2,4-D.

For Use On: Bluegrass, Fescue, Rye, Bent (excluding golf greens and tees), Bahia, Bermuda, and Zoysia.

Use Caution On: Carpetgrass, Centipede or St. Augustine (may cause some temporary yellowing).

Ingredients: MCPA, Triclopyr and Dicamba.

Usage: Avoid applications when air temperature exceeds 85ºF (80ºF for Carpetgrass and St. Augustine). Apply at the rate of 1 to 1.25 oz in 2- 5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. to control weeds growing in lawns. Avoid applications to warm season lawn during transition from dormancy to green-up or green-up to dormancy. *Refer to product label for exact application rates.
