Espoma Organic Garden-tone Herb & Vegetable Food provides safe, continuous feeding for all vegetables. Garden-tone was originally developed for professional gardeners to grow an abundant harvest of nutritious and flavorful vegetables. Grow delicious cool and warm season vegetables like lettuce, kale, tomatoes, peppers and squash as well as herbs like basil, chives, sage, rosemary, parsley & oregano.

Espoma Organic Garden-tone Herb & Vegetable Food provides long lasting, slow-release feeding with Bio-tone Microbes. Espoma "Tone" products are made from complex blends of the finest natural and organic ingredients. No sludges or cheap fillers are ever used. They are enhanced with Bio-tone beneficial microbes to help plants establish fast, develop deeper roots, and have superior blooms. Consistency and quality are guaranteed. Long lasting results - won't burn or leach away.

INGREDIENTS: Feather Meal, Poultry Manure, Bone Meal, Alfalfa Meal, Greensand, Sulfate of Potash, Sulfate of Potash Magnesia, Humic acids derived from Leonardite, Bio-tone*.

*Bio-tone formula: Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, Bacillus licheniformis, Bacillus megaterium, Bacillus pumilus, Bacillus subtilis, Paenibacillus polymyxa.

USAGE: 1 lb equals ~3 cups.

  • When possible, mix into the garden soil prior to planting.
  • For seedlings / transplants apply 7 – 10 days after planting.
  • For established plants apply monthly from May through August.
  • Herbs will only require feeding at time of planting or after a large harvest.

Soil Preparation for Vegetable Garden: Apply 3.5 lb per 50 square feet and work into the top 4 to 5 inches of soil. When possible, mix with organic matter such as compost, humus, or peat moss.
Vegetables and Tomatoes: For single plants, apply up to 1/3 cup per plant and for rows, apply 1-1/3 cup each side per 5 ft of row or 10 lb each side per 100 ft. of row.
Potted Plants: For new plants, thoroughly mix 2 cups into each cubic foot of potting soil.
Established Plants: Sprinkle 1.5 tsp per 4″ of pot diameter onto the soil along the outer edge of the pot. Water thoroughly.
Herbs: In the garden, use 1 tbsp per plant and in containers, mix 1 cup into each cubic foot of potting soil.
