Down To Earth Vegan Mix Natural Fertilizer contains essential nutrients derived from plant materials and natural minerals, with no animal products or by-products. DTE Vegan Mix is the indispensable all-purpose fertilizer blended specially for vegan gardeners.
DTE Vegan Mix is formulated with plant derived essential nutrients and natural mineral elements plus Humic acids to help improve plant growth, quality and yields. Its slow-release formula is designed to continually nourish your vegetables, flowers and herbs while stimulating and building soil health.
Ingredients: Soybean Meal, Neem Seed Meal, Alfalfa Meal, Rock Phosphate, Langbeinite, Greensand, Kelp Meal, Humic Acids (derived from leonardite). Also contains 4% calcium and 1% magnesium.
Usage: 2.5 cups ≈ 1 lb; ½ cup ≈ 3.2 oz; 1 tbsp ≈ 0.4 oz
Vegetable Gardens & Flower Beds: To prepare new gardens, apply 2.5-5 lb per 100 sq ft and thoroughly mix into the top 3″ of soil. For new transplants, add 1-2 tbsp per hole, mix into soil and water in well. To feed established plants, side dress 1/3-2/3 cup depending on plant size and desired growth rate, once each month during the growing season.
Containers: For new plantings, add 2-4 tbsp per gallon of soil and mix thoroughly OR add 10-25 lb per cubic yard. For established plants, lightly mix 2-4 tbsp per gallon into the soil surface once each month during the growing season.
Trees & Shrubs: Spread 1-2 lb per 1″ of trunk diameter around the base outwards to the drip line, mix into soil surface and water in well. For new trees, prepare transplant hole and mix 2-3 cups with the backfill soil. Use amended soil to fill in around the new tree and water in well.
