Down To Earth Bio-Fish Natural Fertilizer is an all-purpose, nutrient-rich fertilizer ideal for vegetable gardens and all types of outdoor plants, trees and shrubs. DTE Bio-Fish mix is formulated with top quality organic ingredients and is a good source of nitrogen and phosphorus. Use throughout the growing season to promote vigorous growth, plentiful fruit and beautiful blooms.
Great for corn, broccoli, gigantic pumpkins, and many other popular garden plants.
Ingredients: Fish Bone Meal, Fish Meal, Feather Meal, Sulfate of Potash, Alfalfa Meal, Kelp Meal, Humic Acids (derived from Leonardite). Also contains 7% calcium and 1% sulfur.
Usage: 2½ cups ≈ 1 lb; ½ cup ≈ 3.2 oz; 2.5 tbsp ≈ 1 oz
Vegetable Gardens & Flower Beds: To prepare new gardens, apply 5 lb per 100 sq ft and thoroughly mix into the top 3″ of soil. For new transplants, add 1/4 cup per hole, mix into soil and water in well. To feed established plants, side dress 1/4- 1/2 cup depending on plant size and desired growth rate, twice each month during the growing season.
Outdoor Containers: For new plantings, add 2 tbsp per gallon of soil and mix thoroughly OR add 5-10 lb per cubic yard. For established plants, lightly mix 1-2 tbsp per gallon into the soil surface twice each month during the growing season.
Trees & Shrubs: Spread 1 lb per 2″ of trunk diameter around the base outwards to the drip line, mix into soil surface and water in well. For new trees, prepare transplant hole and mix 1-2 cups with the backfill soil. Use amended soil to fill in around the new tree and water in well.
Row Crops/Acreage: Apply 500-1,000 lb per acre depending on specific crop needs or required pounds of actual nutrients per acre.
